1940s /1950s Blue Corde Handbag

​This is a beautiful and authentic vintage purse, dating from the 1940s / 1950s and made in England, showcasing the craftsmanship of the Cordé brand.

• ​Exterior: Crafted from a distinctive navy blue Cordé braid on both sides.
• ​Frame & Hardware: Features a gold-tone frame with a striking white pearlised bar accent set into the front.
• ​Closure: Secured by a rectangular lift-up snap closure.
• ​Handle: Completed with a short Cordé handle.
• ​Interior: Lined in elegant dark blue satin.
• ​Condition/Provenance: The interior contains two mirror pockets, one of which still holds the original satin purse that once held a mirror but has been lost to the vaults of time.  The bag retains its Genuine Cordé Label, confirming its authenticity.
